Welcome to Mansfield Mediation
Mansfield Mediation was formed in 1994. The organisation is not for profit and gained Limited status in August 2000 and became independent. The organisation offers mediation services as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism to law and the courts. Since the early 1990’s, there has been swift growth in the use of mediation in Britain, resolving conflict in ever new areas of dispute.
The aims of Mansfield Mediation are to work with communities to reduce low level conflict and to educate and train people in effective methods of conflict resolution.
Our core business is in neighbour mediation. Neighbour mediation is mostly a free service for those going through the process which can often resolve real problems. The types of issues that create conflict for neighbours include: loud music, banging doors, late night DIY, children, boundaries, parking, dogs and other environmental issues.
Other areas of mediation where we are able to provide services include: family (helping to prevent homelessness), community (several party involvement), landlord and tenant (where tenants may be at risk of eviction), and also workplace (disputes in the workplace).
Mediation is about giving an equal voice to those in conflict.
The mediation service holds a commitment to independence, impartiality and confidentiality.
Divorce & Separation
